My summer

Since summer is coming up I wanted to talk about what I did last summer and maybe you can get ideas. I liked my vacation, because it was fun and enjoyable, I made a lot of memories. I went to the beach and I love going to the beach because you can find different animals that I don't usually see like crabs, clams, and I found a tiny shrimp (it was my first time seeing a live shrimp) and sometimes you can find whales in the water where you can see their tails and they are huge by the way. I went with my friends and I met new friends. Another thing I did in the summer was I went to the best place that I have been to which is the science museum in San Francisco we spent most of the day at the science museum. Inside there was a planetarium it was pretty awesome because it was about planets and I like learning about planets. I walked around the museum and seen a lot of different animals, like crocodiles, jellyfish, rainforest animals, penguins, and lots more. They said that the museum was the biggest science museum in California. Also while we were in San Francisco we ate a restaurant called Joe's Crab Shack and I had crab legs, corn, and shrimp it was pretty good and I had never been there before I would go again. Other things I did was invite my friends over to play games and my cousins came for sleepovers. I also went ice skating (now that was fun) and played outside most of the time. I am looking forward to this summer, I think that it is going to be even better. I want to ride my bike on a trail and go camping, go to the beach again, and maybe go to the museum again too.

What do you plan to do this summer?

My first garden

[Flashback to last week I mentioned how I bought a couple of plants], this week I am happy to say I started my very own garden. We went to a nursery to pick out what I wanted to plant. While I was there I learned that potatoes are best planted in the winter here.

A few of the plants we used

Also, I was told about the Native American story the three sisters of gardening and how they planted in an appealing way by planting corn in the middle, string beans around the corn, and zucchini around it all.

Next, I had to get the planting beds ready. A bed for plants is a wooden box filled with soil. Filling the box was hard work because it was a lot of soil that had to be put in the bed.

After that we had to measure how far each plant needed to be, then we planted them by digging up some holes in the soil. Lastly, I put the plants in the holes and watered them.

And that is how I started my first garden.

There are a lot of reasons why you should start a garden, here's my top three:
  1. It's fun
  2. You'll get a new experience
  3. You'll get good fresh food

Do you have a garden? If you do post a pic. If not, have you ever thought of one?

Fresno City College Festival

So last week my mom and I went to support our friend at Fresno City college. Our friend makes clothes for people to wear and sells them, I think it takes a lot of work to do that and she does a really good job. They had many different people selling things at the college on this day. I bought a small golden elephant it originated from Thailand that I placed on my backpack, it looks pretty cool. There were other handmade things like dinosaurs and dragons made from rope that was sold at this tent.

I also bought some plants which were awesome to see, I have one that I really like it's called a peace lily it was 3 dollars. The other one I bargain shopped for by asking the price which the seller said it was 5 dollars I counted my money and I only had 3 dollars so I asked the price of a different plant and the lady said if you want I will sell this plant for 3 dollars now, so I got the plant that I originally wanted for a cheaper price as a bargain shopper.
Here's a picture of me showing my plants to my class.

I also bought a wooden sword from the festival it is really awesome it's like a real sword and it was 12 dollars pretty cheap huh? There are festivals every year! I'm looking forward to seeing what else there is next year! Thank you for reading, bye.

Getting on Purple

At my school in my class if you get on purple- good things will happen because purple is the highest color that you can get on the behavior clip chart. If you get on purple this is what will happen- you'll get to pick from the treasure box and there are prizes in it that you can pick at the end of the day. When I go to my special reading class we have the same colors, but with an extra color and the highest color is pink and if you get on pink the teacher will tell her other class about what you did to get on pink and it makes me happy because I was on pink. Starting from the bottoms the colors are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and (pink). In my class we all start off on green and then you have to work your way up. Purple means royal behavior, blue means ready to learn and green means I've got my eye on you. Those are the colors that you really want to be on, like if you were me and you weren't on those colors you'll be sorry 😰. The other colors mean not so good like red means parent contact and orange means you're not making good choices today and yellow means this is a warning space ranger. And in my reading class pink means super student. I was on pink before and it was real awesome being on pink, when I told people that I was on pink it was really good they were happy. So those are all the colors that I have in my classes. I want you to do good in school so that you can be a super student too. So listen to your teacher, follow rules, and always do your best to get to the highest color there is.

Do you want to be a super student? It's your choice good or bad. (And this post is for children by the way)

First you slice up the carrots and celery

Then you take some parsley and onions and put it in a blender also with the celery, carrots and garlic

Next you take your ground turkey and ground beef mix it in a bowl with your vegetables from the blender and add two eggs with it and mix it all together with a fork.

Use a ice cream scoop to form them into balls and have an adult place them into a pan with grease to fry until the meatballs are dark brown color.

Next put some spaghetti sauce on top of your meatballs

Boil your noodles and eat with toasted garlic bread.
How do you like your spaghetti?
